“Violet: Memories from the Eyes of a Daughter”

This is an honest conversation between a daughter and her father, a child and an adult, or simply, two people.
In darkness, they question the fleetingness of time, memories and their undoing;
In light, they search for one another, answers and salvation.
But the past, does it always answer our questions, or is it time to let go?
A live performance inspired by the song, “From Violet” co-written by Scentory and Olivier Cong for the book "Porcelain Painting with Amy", we explore the complexity of human relationships through live music, physical performance and projection art, and what it means to be ‘connected’. We’re honoured to be collaborating with Ong Yong Lock and Natalie Mak on the physical response to Olivier's music.

這是一場父女之間的坦誠剖白，是稚子與成人的對話，也是屬於兩個人的對話。
在黑暗中，他們的人生脫序，迷失於不斷流逝的時間與回憶之中；
在光明中，他們互相追逐，尋找人生的答案與最後的救贖。
而過去的一切，究竟是解惑的關鍵，還是我們最應放下的執著？
今次的現場演出，靈感源自香言與音樂人江逸天共同為選書《瑰寶‧瓷畫》創作的歌曲 “From Violet”，透過現場音樂、形體動作及投影裝置，探索對所愛之人難以割捨的牽絆，感受如人與人之間的真正連結。這次我們很榮幸邀請到王榮祿和麥琬兒為我們用肢體回應音樂。
